We’re proud of the work we do outside of the office. Momentum is regularly looking to give back to the community whether it’s in our own backyard, or an initiative a remote team member is passionate about. We’re committed to giving back and doing our part for the better good.
We believe it’s our responsibility to do what we can for those in need. We’re committed to working with local community centers, schools and business owners to provide relief and prosperity to our town and beyond.
We have corporate members who are a dedicated part of the Kiwanis Club of Utica-Shelby Township. Momentum often participates in the club’s events including painting the Stony Creek Church Blessing Box. To this day, the team regularly donates items to help keep both blessing boxes stocked to help support local families or individuals in need. Members of our team also joined the Kiwanis 5K at Jimmy John’s Field to raise funds for the organization’s youth focused initiatives.
Our team loves getting festive for Halloween! This includes joining in on the Trunk or Treat fun put on by the City of Utica Parks and Stony Creek Church. Our team gets all dressed up to hand out candy and sometimes even plays some live music! Truck or Treat events are a great way to have safe, family-fun for the holiday. We love spending time with local families and seeing the kids have a blast dressed as their favorite characters. Get in the Halloween spirit with Momentum!
Members of our team regularly sit on the Fraser High School Web Design Advisory Committee and attend events hosted by the school. The committee’s goal is to support student interest in web development, cyber security, digital marketing and more while ensuring they’re learning relevant skills to help them succeed in entry level positions within their field. We’re happy to assist the next generation of marketing and web design professionals by giving them the tools they need to continue their education and grow their resumes.
Only our bravest team members participate in local or virtual Polar Plunges to raise funds in support of the Special Olympics. This is a fun and chilly way to give back and provide training and services to these talented athletes.
Everyone should feel valued. Momentum has hosted events with Girls Who Code, an organization that upholds diversity, equity and inclusion within the computer science industry, with a special focus on bringing awareness to girls ages 13-17.
We regularly have a booth at the Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan’s Annual Golf Outing to meet other businesses in the manufacturing industry. This is a great way to connect and enjoy a round of golf on the green.
